Cramps....related to ovary/surgery or IBS????

Hey Ladies. I have been having lots of cramping lately. A lot of times it is followed by a trip to the bathroom (diarrhea occasionally....sorry it might be tmi!). Then the cramping subsides somewhat....still have some lower back pain that goes along with it. Does this sound like ovary or post op pain or more like intestinal or IBS symptoms. To me, it feels like I am about to start my period but since I am almost 6 months post op from a TAH/RSO that can't be possible! Any suggestions I do appreciate. Thanks, I don't know where I would be without this site!

Cramps....related to ovary/surgery or IBS????

Anna, I just had my hysterectomy July 19th and I've been feeling the same old cramps that I used to feel too. I'm also on pain pills and having the constipation so it makes it feel like I'm still sitting on my insides like I felt before. (I had adeno and my uterus was twice the normal size). I'm starting to think it is IBS too that is causing the pain and then that makes me wonder if hysterectomy was the right thing to do but I do remember the doctor warning me that some people get ghost cramping for a bit after surgery so maybe it is that. So, I don't have an answer for you but I'm kind of in the same boat. Just wondering if the cramping is due to the constipation stuff or if it is just ghost pains that eventually go away except you are pretty far out so I'd think the ghost pains would be done by now.
