Anyone here at 4 months? How are you feeling? Physically - emotionally? Would you do it all over again?

Hi Lisa!
I'm a week away from ya...close enough
I'm doing better S l o w l y. Still get twinges in my abdomen, esp. if I overdo, but each time they are less in strength. Energy is better, but not good. Then again, I also have Fibromyalgia and CFIDS, so I'm always tired!!
Emotionally, eigh...Up and down. I switched from the patch to Estratest H.S. and it has helped my mood and libido.
Would I do it again? YOU BET!!! No periods!! Although I can still tell you when it would be coming. I still get PMS and an achy crampy feeling. Common from what I read, but odd still.
How about you? Is life getting back to normal?

Hi Lisa.
I had an LSH in July & physically, I feel so much better.
The hardest part was my ovaries recovering. I went through weeks of depression, hot flashes, ...etc, all the meno symptoms. Thank God that has finially calmed down. Still get exhausted easier than I am used to, but overall, I feel good. Recovery has had many ups & downs & even at 4 months, I can still feel my body healing. I am just now, esp mentally, starting to feel like my old self again.
How has this experience been for you & how are doing now?
Ciana

Calla, you and I had our surgeries on the same date.
Lisa, I am pretty good most days. I have to say the twinges on the right side have gone away. I am hoping for good! I am sleeping longer stretches at a time finally. My emotions are still a roller coaster, but more up days than down. My biggest issue is weight. I just want to wake up thin! LOL.
Would I do it again? You betcha. When I consider the way I felt then compared to now it is a no brainer. No more excessive bleeding, no more anemia, no more days spent flat on the couch unable to function! I still have pms and all the symptoms that come with it: sore breasts, bloating, and irritability, although the last one I really think is just my family's problem! LOL.

I am doing better physically. Still suffering with low blood count and no energy. My moods are up and down and I have PMS. But I have no periods. I still get emotional when I think of never having another baby. I am not at the point yet where I can say...I would do it again. Hopefull soon...Thanks everyone for your response. Good Luck! {{Hugs}}
