Is Lupron Necessary?

Unless you still have some oestrogen in your body I can't see what change Lupron would have on someone post menopause. Maybe just my misunderstanding.
If it was me, I'd try and avoid it. I had it for 6 months (called Zoladex in the UK) and it wasn't very nice although had an amazing affect on my endo.

Well - still waiting on a call back from the Dr. - looks like I have to wait yet another day. He did tell me the Lupron may not work since I'm past menopause and I have decided to remove the uterus without his input.
Now I wonder if I should get rid of the ovaries as well. The cervix can stay. Still, if I lose the ovaries I hope it don't put me thru meno yet again. I went shopping today for BIG girl pants - I bought one size larger granny pants - hope they're big enough. And I hope after this I never see them again. Thanks to all for listening and I really appreciate all your input.
