Re: fever and chills?

Well thanks for all the support ladies. I spoke with my Dr. and today i have no fever, a little cold and very tired, sore. She said that since my fever wasn't High(over 100.4) and I wasn't in extreme, aweful pain and no oozing or heavy bleeding that I should be fine. She reminded me that my blood levels were very low after surgery, shy of needing a blood transfusion, and she said that is why I feel soo worn out and that maybe my body is trying to fight off something. She also said that it will take awhile to heal and that the younger you are the more painful the whole ordeal. Personally I say just depends on the person. all in all i am not to worry that I am still to take it easy and try to get my blood levels up with the pills i have been taken and with diet. So after finding this all out my husband has been having a "hard" time dealing with "all" he has been doing so i figured the vaccuum isn't that heavy so i will help him out and do it. no lifting or stairs just two rooms and OMG I won't do that again for a long time!!! so again thanks for all the support.. Hope you are all healing well and TAKE IT EASY!!
wishing you the best.

Re: fever and chills?

Hi,
Sorry you're feeling icky! I'm glad your temp is under 100! keep watch though. I mainly stay cold and I've been warm maybe 3 times since I've been home. When I would take deep breaths my 1st week post-op, that was uncomfortable. I called about it--and before my 2nd week it went away. So call if you're unsure about anything. I've had the bloating feeling since the procedure. It's unbearable at times.

I wish you well! Take good care!

Ducky!!!

I'm so glad to hear that you'll be OK and that you didn't have to go back to the Dr. today.

The hardest thing in the world is to just "Be Still"!

Get plenty of rest and pamper yourself... remember that you're a Princess.
