2 more weeks!!

I haven't scheduled or spoke with the castle for a pre-op. Do you think I should have by now?

I have a pre-op with my Doctor, but I thought I was suppose to have one with the hospital also. I have with all my other surgeries.

What do you think? Should I call them, or just wait it out?

Call your Dr, why wait. It will relieve your mind to know what is expected.

When I schedule my surgery they also scheduled my preop for one week before the surgery.

Those 2 weeks will fly by!

Hi, I had my pre op the day before my surgery. I started at my dr's office. From there I went to the hospital - I didn't need a set appointment there. I did everything in one morning and then went out to lunch with my sis.

By all means call your dr and ask. It can probably set your mind at ease and who needs extra to worry about while waiting for a hyst?

My surgery is on the 26th and they scheduled my pre-op at the doctor's office the day before, and then I go from there to the hospital to do their pre-op. I kind of wish they were sooner than the day before the surgery because I have so many questions that I would like to be prepared for in advance, but I guess that's just the way they do theirs.

I just had my pre-op at the plastic surgeons for the tummy tuck today, then next Mon is at the docs - from there I go straight to the hosp for theirs, so will probably take all morning.

The PS didn't say anything about bowel prep and I forgot to ask, so I'll have to check with Gyn. They did tell me to shave down to the pubic bone the night before and gave me an iodine wash to use the previous week. I'll check with the Gyn re the shaving, to make sure their instructions are the same because I know that is quite unusual to do your own shaving.

The worst thing was the "before picture" - I've never been photographed in the nude before - very humiliating! The second worst thing was paying the money - no turning back now. I'm sure it will all be worth it.
