Queefers 12 years post-op??!!!

Sisters, I'm finding older posts on a horribly embarrassing phenomenon - queefers (or, to be blunt, vaginal farts). These have begun 12 years after my vaginal hysterectomy and I've never experienced anything like it! How air is getting trapped in my vagina is a mystery, but these "eruptions" occur after I've been sitting for a couple of hours and seem only to occur while I'm at work. When I finally stand up and start moving I feel air moving out of me and loud "PFFFFFFT" sounds that I'm sure everyone can hear - I'm mortified! I'm thankful queefers don't smell, but that's small consolation. Do any of you know what helps to prevent this phenomenon (or what's causing it)? Can Kiegels help? Thanks, girls!!

LOL - I know it's not funny but that brought back a old childhood memory. I have a cousin that can do that on comand and takes great pleasure in showing everyone. She did it for my grandparents and the other older family members and her mother was SOOOO mad. I thought she was gonna stroke out.
Sorry I don't have an answer - but had to share that story. Really not sure why.
