Is anyone sleeping on tummy after abdominal hyst???

I've been sleeping in either left or right side for 3 weeks since op and was always a tummy sleeper. Tried for the first time tonight and it just doesn't feel right. Too squishy. Can't wait to fully heal so I can get back on everything!! X

Im a tummy sleeper too. I was never happier to be able to sleep on my tummy again. The last couple of months before the surgery, I couldnt sleep on it either. Fibroid was getting too big. I sleep like a baby again........until the insomnia kicks in at 3am and Im wide awake.

i still cant sleep on belly like i used still hurts even though it has been 5 months. I just roll all night from side to I hate it driving crazy.

I slept on my tummy while still in the hospital because it was the only position that didn't hurt! Hurt like heck to get into the position, but it felt comfy once there. Since then, I've been sleeping on my side.

I'm jealous...still sleeping on my back and I am a side sleeper. I don't think I could sleep own may tummy if I wanted to, at least not yet.

4 months out and still cannot sleep on my tummy. Found a great pillow....side sleeper.com that is shaped like a question mark & has been wonderful in helping me get use to sleeping on my side.

Today is my 11th day post op tah, I've been sleeping on my tummy for 5 days now,my back was achy sleeping on it after surgery,I'm sure in no time you'll be back on your tummy as well.

I envy all of you that are able to sleep in any position except your back. Since it is 2 am it is technically wednesday which means I am 5 days post op. I still can't sleep in any position except on my back, propped up with pillows behind my
knees. I crave sleeping on my side being held by my spouse.....

I had half an hour on my tummy during the night, but woke myself up mid turning over, it hurt like hell. So, I'm not going to try it for another few days yet. I can't wait! Had a crap nights sleep. Got woken up to the smell of food cooking. My 18 yr old son decided to make himself burger and chips at 2am, so not happy!!!!
