TLH Pain & Bleeding 3 weeks post Hysterectomy

I had my surgery 3/30/16. I didn't realize this forum was here also. I was mostly on the post op. I guess I am still learning the site. I was wondering since you all are about the same place as myself, as if there are any of you out there are experiencing about a 4-5 pain off your meds and a 2 while on them? I am still bleeding steady also. I over did it Monday and it's Thursday still very little improvement with not doing anything but on the couch. Any one else?

We are very glad you've joined us! At 3 weeks post op, my pain was at a similar level to your's. Mostly I couldn't get comfortable and had to constantly shift position or get up and move around. It is common to have light bleeding or spotting that starts and stops throughout our initial recovery period - approximately 6 weeks. If you're bleeding heavily (soaking a pad in an hour) or experiencing anything different than what is in your discharge instructions, please call your doctor.
