Pain Question
I had a TAH BSO on June 9. I was in surgery for 4.5 hours. I got out of the hospital on Saturday afternoon. I've ran a very low grade fever that has stayed around 100 over the last 2 days. Today I woke up, and I hurt worse than I did on Friday. I can't hardly move. My incisions sting, and they are very warm. Anybody else have this issue?

My advice would be to call your doctors office and let them know what is going on.
Warm, stinging incisions plus low grade fever can be signs of infection.

I totally agree - I'm a retired RN. Call your doc.......they definitely need to know about this. You have a lot of red flags going on. Sending healing thoughts your way...........

I had low grade fever 99-100 for 1 day, my DR told me to call him if it got up 101,,he told me the risk of infection is usually within the 1st 7 days po...you should call your Dr. just to make sure nothing is going on. I also had a little stinging of the incision 1st few days after surgery, but went away. Take Care
