4 wks post op in 2 days

So far feeling a little better. Noticed when I walk more bleeding is more noticeable. Color is slightly pink to light red now. This week started feeling heaviness and soreness like I had a baby. Have a light pulling pain on right side of groin that comes and goes. Still have a hard time laying down. Does anyone need to have 5 pillows in order to sleep?

Hi Vanny, glad that you are feeling okay. Laying down and sleeping will get better in time. Try and relax and rest. The light bleeding could be your body's way of telling you that you are doing too much too soon.
Rest and see how that goes.

Lots of ((HUGS)) to you

Thank you. I have to keep reminding myself it has barely been a month!

Re: 4 wks post op in 2 days

I am almost 2 weeks post-op (also LAVH) and I still need about three pillows to sleep. It is very uncomfortable to lay all the way down so I have to prop up. I've also noticed that bleeding/spotting is worse after walking a bit. If I'm in bed resting there is almost no spotting, but as soon as I walk to the living room or out back for a few minutes I have spotting. I think that may be normal that when we do more the body reacts with more spotting.

I'm also enduring the pulling you feel. I feel a lot of pressure in my pelvic area like I'm going to have a baby or just had one. I had a third degree uterine prolapse and had severe pressure and pain prior to my LAVH. My dr said the hyster may not cure the pressure I was feeling, which scares me because the pressure was so bad I was on disability as I couldn't sit in a car or sit at my desk or even wear jeans it was so bad. I am concerned that it did not and will discuss more with him in two days at my post op. Hearing your symptoms, though, gives me hope that maybe it's a post op symptom?
