i am in so much pain

I can't say it enough, I love this place. I read your post and all the replies and realize that there are others who also have fibro-I had a TAH BSO 12 weeks ago because of cancer. Last night was the first time since my surgery that I didn't wake up at all - yippee! My fibro has also been bad since my surgery, I take a low dose of amitriptyline to help me sleep and 600mg ibuprofen (3 times a day) and before the surgery it worked very well. Since surgery it hasn't been so great but my doctor did tell me that the fibro would cause some problem post op. However now every time I get a pain I immediately think of cancer which of course doesn't help when stress is a trigger for fibro.
So I guess I haven't really helped you have I? But it was nice to hear from someone who also has this problem, guess there are a lot of us out there

I have fibro too. The only thing that helped me after surgery was to stretch gently and often, and rest, it has helped. Feel better!
