Going Back To Work Today

Good morning Sisters! I just wanted to drop a note to thank you for your support and advice both pre- and post-op. I have found I reference the site often to people, as in "The HysterSisters said....", they ask who? I get to tell them about the site, but also how thankful I am and how lost I would have been without you! Have a great day and I wish for you a healthful, rested recovery!

Hope your first day back goes well! Don't plan on anything major this evening - other than putting your feet up and resting! Glad to hear you've done well.

Stella, so haooy you posted this...I was feeling a little insane for stopping by before getting ready for my 1st day back at work! Then I saw your thread and thought "hmmmm I'm not crazy" LOL

It was uneventful and boring! Although I'm not complaining...everyone asked how I was and pretty much left me alone. I made it about 7 hrs and came home. Have only about 45 min commute, but here I am...exhausted. Whoda thunk? I'm thinking a nap is in order then maybe the grocery store. I'm wondering if my house could be condemned for the number of dirty dishes in the sink?!?

I went back today also...in fact I'm still there with a few minutes til I leave. It's been great!!! I wasn't so looking forward to it, but everyone has been wonderful. They even took me out to lunch to welcome me back. I started getting a bit tired around 3:00, but I'm hanging in. Next step is getting home...which will be a bear. There is heavy rains going on in Maryland with lots of flooded streets. Who knows how long it will take. Anyway, all in all a good day - I hope they continue on this note. I'm glad your day went well also. Here's to more good ones to come!
