when you fly, take Airborne, you can find it all drug and grocery stores, it is like a fizzie tablet and makes a decent tasting drink, it is high in zinc, so if you do catch a cold, it will be very mild.
I was a flight attendant for 30+ years, and that is the worst place you can put yourself for catching a cold or flu.
Also elderberry extract (from the health food store) is excellent to kill off the influenza virus, so you can take that also as a preventative, it is about 12 dollars for a small bottle of extract, you can add it to tea, water, 7up, wine, or take about 20 drops straight from the dropper! Not a bad idea to start both of those.
Hand sanitizer is good too, but zinc and extra vitamins is the best, won't hurt you to beef up with extra vitamins for the big day anyway!

I felt the same way once my surgery was schedule. I am a case manager at the Welfare office and I see people that come in with all kind of colds and flu's.

I always carry my personal pen and a pen for the client. That second pen stays on the desk in the interview room when I am done. I started making sure I washed my hands after every interview.

A multi-vitamin might be a good idea too.
