Vertical incision

I am rolling into my 2 week post op and the most pain i get is on the left side only of my vertical incision. I can't figure out why this is except for the fact that that was where the most noticeable grapefruit size fibroid was ( out of 4). Could that be it?

It could be why you are having more pain that side. My huge fibroids were on my right side with lots of scar tissue & adhesions. Dr said this was the reason I have more pain on that side! Hope you feel better soon;-)

Thanks! I'm not sure where the other fibroids were as going into surgery we only knew of 1 huge one. When I woke up they showed me the pictures I asked for and there were 4 giant ones taking up all the space in there. But I'm not sure of their position

It probably is. My fibroid was the size of a bowling ball ( I had the doc take pics for me) and my pain was on my left side. I thought it would never go away but now at 4.5 weeks post op, it has.

Mine was a bowling ball also. I don't know what it makes me laugh but it does. I am 1.5 wks post op and have been fortunate to not have much pain at my incision site.

It'd be awesome to see your pictures. I have a couple too that my Doc took. Is there sonewhere we can share?

I think there may be a way to post pics on this site?
