Constipation

THESE IRON PILLS R REALLY DOING A NUMBER ON ME, IM EATING APPLES , DRINKING PLENTY OF WATER, CEREAL I TOOK SOME METAMUCIL TODAY, I TALKED TO MY DR. SHE SAID TO TAKE SOME MILD LAXATIVE IM DOING EVYTHING
DO ANY ONE HAVE ANY MORE SUGGESTIONS THEY WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED, IM BLOATED AND FEEL VERY UNCOMFORTABLE.

Iron pills, by themselves, = instant constipation, for me. So, I was prescribed Trihemic (an American brand) which contains Colace, a laxative - never a problem again. Ask your doctor about these.

ok thanks alot, im to the point where i dont want to eat, i have just been drinking water.

I am eight days post-op and gas/constipation are not my friends. I started on prune juice diluted with hot water like tea and it is working! Yeaay!
