Kind of gross, I know...

I am wondering if anyone else has experienced peachy, brownish discharge? I pretty much have since my hyster some days more than others, but it's always that color.

Re: Kind of gross, I know...

Unfortunately, yep. I've dealt with it since I started getting up and moving around at the hospital (about 2 days post op) and the more I move, the more I have. It takes time for all of the sutures and things to heal. I'm now almost 2.5 weeks post op and I'm finally getting less and less.

Re: Kind of gross, I know...

Yup! I had discharge of varying colors: pink, dark red, bright red, brown and orange. I felt like I had a rainbow dancing through my panties!

Re: Kind of gross, I know...

It looks like we all went in for our hyster pretty much the same time! Mine isn't really getting better though. Mind you it has never been a lot. I could wear one panty liner all day but I'm just surprised I still have it I guess. Thank you for the feedback. It's always nice to hear there are others experiencing the same things.

So glad to see this post! Mine is the same way! I did ask my Dr and he said it is absolutely normal. I'll be glad once it is gone!!

Re: Kind of gross, I know...

I've had no bleeding whatsoever but now I have a smelly discharge(fishy). I'm on flagyl as a precaution. Couldn't get into gyno so my regular dock prescribed it just in case. Not sure if its bacterial or that smelly stitch thing everyone talks about?!?
