Hi Ladies,

Sorry its taken me so long to respond. I havent felt much like being on the computer.

Well, surgery went well. It turned out to be the LAVH (Thank Goodness!!) My left ovary was stuck to my bowel and pelvic wall. My Dr. didnt think he would be able to do the LAVH, but I think he knew how scared I was of the alternative, so he tried HARD and succeeded! Due to having an upper respitory infection, I did have an asthma attack after surgery. My pulse ox was down to 88, and I remember having a VERY hard time breathing, but I had a breathing treatment, and was back up to 100 in no time. Everything has been taken out, and what a weird feeling! The gas was the absolute WORSE part of the whole thing. When I was in the hospital, I didnt use the pump that much. Probably cause I got carried away once, and ended up throwing up, decided I didnt like that, and decided to use the pain meds as little as possible.

I have learned that gravity is a weird feeling! When I stand up, I feel like something on the inside is "pulling". It doesnt hurt, but its a little uncomfortable. I still get cramps that feel like a minor period, but I know things will get better everyday!

Thanks to everyone for all the advice before surgery. I was scared to death, as you know!! I cried all the way into OR and cried until they knocked me out!!

Im glad to be home, but Im getting restless sitting around. I did a few too many things yesterday, and paid for it, so Im not sure if there is a happy medium, but if there is I hope to find it...SOON!!! Again thanks to all!!! And the best of wish to those of you going in!!
