Just wanted to share a "ha ha"

I am due for surgery the day before Thanksgiving. I have been in so much pain, the days just seem to drag on and on. Well, I got up this morning and went straight to the bathroom (if I don't, I am in so much pain it is unbearable). Well, low and behold my horrible nightmarish friend was there to visit for the last time, and thinking I was the only one awake, I began speaking to my uterus...you know the whole, go ahead, you can have your one last hoorah but your days are numbered...well, about that time, my hubby came walking in to the bathroom. He didn't say anything, just shook his head, chuckled and walked out. ROFL Just wanted to share and offer some advice - if you are going to talk to your uterus...make sure there is no one else around. LOL

Re: Just wanted to share a "ha ha"

I said something funny to my doc at the hospital the day after surgery. When he arrived I was up walking and then he had to wait while I tried to get into bed and positioned for him to check my incision and I said to him "I knew you were coming, I should have been in bed waiting for you"! LOL I just stopped dead and looked at him really stupid but he just laughed at me! LOL

Bab232,
Thanks for the awesome laugh. At least I am not the only one who talks to herself.
Happy healing.

Re: Just wanted to share a "ha ha"

Thanks for the chuckle. Don't worry about talking to yourself... unless you start answering.
