feeling sad

I am 41 and childless, I had a TAH/BSO my husband and I tried to prepare ourselves for the surgery, knowing the outcome would be final(no children) we knew I needed the hysterectomy and tried every options out there for three years, my pain and other medical issues were just to embarable. I am 7 weeks post op and even though I am grieving a loss of self in a sense, i am feeling so good for the first time in a long time, finally pain free and no more what ifs or losses, surgeries. My husband and i have started connecting emotionally again and the communication has gotten very strong, we are meeting with someone next Tues to discuss adoption options. So I am healing and it does get better.

feeling sad too

That is so great. My dd and sil are in Korea and she walks past an orphanage each day, and all the little Korean children run to the fence and want to touch her hand. You are needed! There are many Russian babies too... Good luck.
