24 days post hysterectomy: brown spotting

I am 24 days post op and I started red spotting on day 12 post op. Well it has since slowed down and turned brown. No bad odor or nothing. I tried searching the board for similar post but found mostly red discharge. Is this normal. I have my four week post op on nov 10. It has almost slowed down enough that it is only when I wipe. But earlier today was dark brown, almost looked like poo, i know tmi. And advice?

This is likely normal. Bright red spotting is fresh blood. As the blood becomes "older" or less fresh, it becomes darker in color. I had brown discharge during my recovery also. As the vaginal cuff heals, its common for the discharge to be dark red or brown in color.

Thanks I was pretty sure it was normal but wanted to make sure. I was always told brown blood is old blood. I am just hoping that since it is old blood now that maybe i am almost done with the spotting. It would be nice!!! I am ready for nothing to be coming out of there anymore!!!
