4 weeks post hysterectomy: Post-op Bleeding

I started bleeding at the beginning of my third week post-op. this really surprised me and was concerning. I went to see my GYN... she examed me and stated that the vaginal cuff is healing well, and the stitches are still in place. She felt around in me and couldn't see or feel anything adnormal. She did see a little bleeding, therefore she used a few long nitrate (?) sticks. I believe she put these on a few small blood vessels. Note: the blood flow was that of a medium period for 2 days; and the day of my office visit & exam, the flow became light. After my office visit, the flow became just spotting. Then the next day it was back to a light flow (which was an improvement from the medium flow I had for 2 days before my doctor visit). Also, my doctor prescribed a low dose of vaginal estrogen cream. She believes the cream will help with the healing process. I will use my 1st application tonight. I'm to use it 3x a week for 3 weeks. Of course I Google everything and I actually read some good reviews about vaginal estrogen cream when used low dosage for short period Of time. It helps the new tissue & collagen to grow & thicken, helps with vaginal lubrication, etc. I will post my experience with the cream a little later. Anyway, as of today, my bleeding is still light. I'm keeping an eye on it and any changes I have, for I am very in tune with my body.
