Question about sutures

Hi, I had TAH/BSO on June 27th and am doing very well. I saw the doctor on the 12th and although she removed the steristrips, she did not mention, and I failed to ask about the internal stitches and if I have any. Wouldn't everybody have internal stitches? The reason I'm asking is although the release paper I was sent home with said watch for the discharge around day 14 or so, I am 20 days out and have seen nothing yet. Am I just a late dissolver? Is it possible I don't have stitches? (I will call Monday, but I felt like asking my sisters in the mean time as I don't see doc again until Aug 12th). Thanks and I love you all! Patty

I am a little over 4 weeks post-op. (TAH/BSO) I never had any discharge or bleeding at all from the internal stitches. I had asked my doctor if I would pass any stitches or have discharge. He said that it was possible, but probably not.

I had my 4 week check up last Thursday and mine are completely dissolved. Some women have discharge and pass stitches, and some don't.

I just had that strange odor for a while from all the stitches inside.
