smelly yellow discharge 3 weeks after hysterectomy

Sorry for the blunt description but overall I am feeling wonderful.. I'm going on my third week post op..Last Monday I had my 15 staples removed..a little discomfort but nothing to cry about.... Any who... I have a discharge that's yellow and smelly.. I have always been the girl that's smells wonderful... EVERYWHERE... But that's not the case anymore.. Please tell me this is normal and it will go away...I will ask my doctor when I go back for my four week check up but I can't wait that long.. Please any advice....

Smelly discharge sounds like an infection. You should contact a healthcare provider immediately. Sorry.

Definitely go see a doctor as soon as you can.
Any smelly discharge can mean infection and you should always get it taken care of sooner rather than later.

Thank you ladies.. I took my last antibiotic on Thursday for my bladder infection after my Foley (hope I spelled that right) was removed.... I usually get a yeast infection after when I take antibiotics... Hopefully its a little bacteria infection... I will keep u ladies posted.... Much love ✌

I had the same issue 3 weeks post op.. I went to the doctor as .. and sure enough it was a bacterial infection!!

I wouldn't wait long and go and get it checked out, as if the infection spreads it is not nice
