post-op laprascope bad news

Well I'm a lil over 12hrs post-op laprascopic surgery & it was worse than endometriosis. Apparently my ovaries & some other organs & tissues are not in there right. I had a tubal 2yrs ago then a few days after that I had an emergency appendectomy & the dr that did those operations didn't do a very good job fusing suff back where it went so now it's a big jumbled mess in there. My dr told my husband earlier today no wonder I was in so much pain cuz it's pretty bad. The worse of it all is that I have to have another surgery to go in & correct everything & I have to wait til Friday to find out what exactly that will entale. More than likely my next surgery will be a hysterectomy & now with all this other stuff goin on I'll prob have to get the abdominal one but maybe he can go through my appendectomy scar instead of making another one. So now I play the waiting game some more.

I am sorry you are facing yet another surgery!

It is not uncommon for some of our organs to move around, then if there is some trauma going on, they all get connected together with adhesions. It can be very painful!

I hope that whatever you and your medical team decide is completely successful for you!

Thank you so much! Yes your right it is very painful & aggravates my everyday life. I'll just be happy when Friday gets here & I get to talk with my dr about our options & this be the final surgery I'm ready to enjoy life again!
