What you REALLY need to bring

I brought it all... my Kindle, my Ipod my knitting a belly pillow lotions potions and soaps... and it sat on a chair out of my reach and I lay in bed on pain meds and tethered by a catheter.
I did use my cell phone a bunch of times... I watched tv, though I couldnt tell you now what I saw. Once the catheter came out I got out of bed... they gave me a warmed blanket all folded up to hold against my belly... it was nice. I dragged my bags to my bed and put on my brand new robe and slippers... ... took out my knitting and made it through two rows before I was too tired to do any more.
So what do you REALLY need to bring? Your phone, toothbrush and toothpaste, hairbrush and a bathrobe and slippers.... and you need your i.d and insurance card... honestly... you arent there long enough to want to do anything else!
