Off to castle am..LAVH

I am off to the castle in the morning. LAVH in pain every day. I have burning in my lower back when i stand for any length of time and aching constant in lower pelvic region. I am excited/nervous/ready. I have checked and double checked my list here on the home front. I will be going to my wonderful mother's house to recover. I plan on staying with her for a month. DH is on his own on the home front. I am hoping he will be so appreicative when i come home and see what his wife does all the time!

I have had 6 prior surgeries. 3 c-sections, 1 tubal preg, surg to remove scar tissue, end ablation to stop bleeding that lasted 4 months straight 2 yrs ago and finally after putting up a fight not to have this done a LAVH in the morning. I am actually ready and i hope i will feel why did i wait so long. I dont know what i would have done without this wonderful web site!!!! I love all my sistas!!!!

Wish me luck, and a prayer wouldnt hurt. I will post back when i can.

You'll be in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow. It sounds like this is going to be great for you. Its a hard decision to make but it sounds like your at the beginning of a great new "painfree" life. Best wishes for a great recovery.

Take Care,
Darcie

This should be a breeze for you after all your other surgeries, remember to drink plenty of water, rest often, walk when you can and take time to recover properly. Good luck, it will be intersting to see if you stay at your mum's for the 4 weeks. Will also say a prayer for you and your family.

Have a good castle trip and see you on the other side. I feel so much better than I did pre-op and I'm sooooo glad I had this done.

Arkchickie~
's and lotsa prayers that you sail right thru your surgery and are on your way to a better pain free life!!
I too am going to stay with my mom following surgery (for the simple fact that if I were to come home I would find so many things that I would want and try to do that I wouldn't heal right the first time). DH tells me he is going to do some home improvement while I am away so I am looking forward to seeing what he and my sons do while I am gone. Just praying they don't try to redecorate too much and that I have to "fix" it!!
Anyway~best of luck to you as you go to the and don't forget to and

Arkchickie & Itty,

Wishing you both successful surgeries, comfortable hospital stays and loads of pampering.

I look forward to catching you on the post-op forums. My thoughts and best wishes are with you.
