Mass in Uterus! (2006) Help...I'm scared....

Bridge: I can't even imagine being told I was terminal and inoperable - no matter what the outcome. That must have been very tragic for you. I don't know that I'd ever get over that. Except that now you can thank God, your lucky stars, your sister and your guardian angel. The worst part for me is that I've battled anxiety for years now. I'm doing great! But something like this could throw me into that mess again. And you know, the anxiety was always worse than any health problem I have ever endured. I just drank my first round of barium. ugh... I will ask my gyno to review my MRI scans. I'll have them forwarded from the fibro doctor. Listen to this, and I'm only 46!!!!!

Hi Tooster, Yeah it was horrible for about 2 weeks. I had to see a shrink about the fear and he prescribed lorazepam- hugely helpful and I rarely needed it.
For me what made my anxiety worse was the waiting. When I took control and started making appt's with doctors who could help me, felt a lot better.
Actually found the best doc in the country because of my anxiety so while that anxiety is awful. It did force me to seek out the best doc because I was so fearful of the worst surgery outcome.
I'm doing great too Just focus on your treatment. I think once you overcome serious anxiety you'll always know how to avoid it in the future.
