TVH: Bladder Sling Question

I have been reading around that after you have a bladder sling that you can not lift more then 20 or 30 pounds for the rest of your life.

Is that true? (Not that I wouldn't mind that considering the leaks I will be getting rid of!) I just wanted to know cause my doctor didn't mention anything about it to me.

I had a lifting limit for 6 weeks. Now I go to lift classes at the local gym with no restrictions and no problems.

loveto camp........Hi I was looking back at some of your past posts........can I ask you how long it took for your bladder to calm down. I had a TVT sling almost 6 months ago and I still feel it some days. The urge that is. I am hoping it is going to calm down at some point. Thanks
