A cold 10 weeks post hysterectomy

my son had a very bad cold last week. Over the last few days I've had the scratchy throat and just tired. Oh man I am so much more tired then I normally would be with a cold and oh my it still hurts to cough!! It sucks. I was hoping since I had my hyster 10 weeks ago it wouldn't hurt but I was wrong anyone else dealing with a cold and pain from coughing?

I caught a cold 2 weeks after and it was nasty. The coughing was horrible on the tummy.. Holding pillow against the tummy helped a bit..

I got a carnivorous virus about five weeks out that put me flat on my back, quite literally. For two days, I couldn't even be upright. No eating, no nothing. Had to CRAWL along the floor like a slug to get ot my handbag so I could swallow my beta blocker. It was a particularly bad virus, but I'm sure that my body really got blown away by it since I was still recovering from surgery. It STUNK ... but it passed. *hug*
