Thank you for telling me what you've experienced. I think I'm getting more comfortable with the idea of having my uterus out. Suppose to get my period anytime, maybe tomorrow & my lower abdomin has just been so annoying. I wish my feelings about the ovaries were the same, still haven't decided...waiting to speak to the endocrinologist. Having my body function better seems like a wish more than a reality at the moment. Woke up this morning so nauseous and my head felt it was going into a full migraine. Fortunately, it hasn't.

My brain is tired...been a long day.

Don't get discouraged Kay - dieting or lifestyle changes can be very hard. But, in the long run it will be worth it. I have lost about 96 pounds in the last few years by slowly reducing the carbs (white bread, sugar, processed foods), and I feel a ton better. And, my insulin levels are within normal limits. The good thing about South Beach - if you eat something you're not supposed to - don't beat yourself up. Just try to do better the next meal. It's not an on the wagon - off the wagon type of diet.
