New to site!!!

Hello,
I am 14 days post-op TAH due to ESS (Endometrial Stromal Sarcoma). Just wondering if anyone has a similar situation to mine. I can't take HRT because this type of cancer feeds off of estrogen. I have my post-op Dr. appt on 1/26. He's looking into several med options. Just wondering???
This is a great website!
Good luck to all!

Welcome to HysterSisters, jules 42! I'm sorry to hear about your cancer diagnosis, but I'm really glad you found this website. There is so much helpful information here. If you haven't found it already, you may want to explore the Cancer Concerns forum. I bet there are other women there who have some solid experience with dealing with hormones with a cancer like yours.

Good luck with your appointment this week!

New to site!!!

If you do a search on this site for endometrial stromal sarcoma you will find some links. I had search prior to my hysterectomy as it was a possibility. There is also an internet support group for this type of cancer. My best wishes are going your way.
