9 weeks post op; spotting and cramping

I was 9 weeks post op this past Tuesday. Returned to work and all seemed well, feeling GREAT.
Just the other day I noticed spotting and have been experiencing mild cramping
Anyone else experience these symptoms, is this normal?
Any and all feedback would be GREATLY appreciated.

I'm a day ahead of you. I've felt this way a couple times and the first was a bladder infection and the second was just thinking I was 100% when I'm not and completely overdoing it.

Re: 9 weeks post op; spotting and cramping

I just don't want it to be an issue, or a set back. I really want to get past this and start my new life pain and issue free

If you retained your cervix you may be experiencing mini periods.

Re: 9 weeks post op; spotting and cramping

My dr used delayed dissolving stitches and she said they could last up to 90 days. Maybe that's what it is. I hope it's an easy answer.

Re: 9 weeks post op; spotting and cramping

Hi Fnaylor1972 - Did the dr do an internal exam for you? Could it be possible you have a bit of spotting due to granulation tissue? If the spotting doesn't go away, you might want to call your dr office to see if this is normal, or make an appointment for a follow-up exam.

I have been experiencing something I would describe as "muscle contractions" (had uterus and cervix removed/kept ovaries). I assume this is because I have been more active and have started to do some exercising.

Re: 9 weeks post op; spotting and cramping

At 7 weeks post op I was given the green light to resume normal activity. I was told that all the stiches were dissolved. I was told that there was a small raw spot that was not completely healed but other than that all was good.
I am a HHA (home health aide) and have resumed my job.
I will give it until Wednesday and if it has not stopped by then (which I hope it does) I will then call my Dr.
Wish me luck - I have so enjoyed being back at work and would hate to have any setback
