Upset stomach after hysterectomy

It could be that you're feeling nausea from the anesthetic, your pain meds, or it could be a virus. Are you able to keep fluids down? If you are feeling like vomiting, please call your doctor for advice. I hope you feel better soon!

My stomach was upset for several days. I think it was the pain meds. I finally just stopped taking them as I was throwing up and it hurt my incision. They were not worth it.

There is an OTC med I bought just in case the meds bothered me. I buy the generic nausea control at the dollar store. Check with your doctor and/or pharmacist first because it has sugars in it.
