Going to the Castle 8:15 am Tomorrow

Hi -

The hospital finally called to say that I have to be at the castle at 8:15 tomorrow morning. Surgery will be at 9:45.

Thanks to all of the sisters! I really, really appreciate all of the responses to my many dumb, dumber, dumbest questions. Although I am really nervous I do know what to expect so I'm not super scared anymore. I keep trying to remember that after tomorrow I will no longer be bleeding, this kind of pain will be gone and soon I will be able to have sex that doesn't hurt! I'll also be a non-smoker since I'm quitting while in the castle.

I wish all the other LIW the best of luck.

Thanks again. s to all!

My surgery is at 10 tomorrow.

Fran.
I go to the castle tomorrow also. I have to be there at 10 am. I just found out last week that I needed the surgery so I did not have time to get too nervous until last night and today. You are right, this list, which I just found a few days ago, has been wonderful and I do have a much better idea of what to expect (not that I am looking forward to it !!) Thank you to everyone who has answered my questions and has posted the many messages that I have been reading.
I taught my first graders today but was not really very focused. I knew I was nervous when I lined them up 2nd period to go to art. The woman who is going to be my sub was in for the day to "watch what I did". As we are lined up ready to leave she quietly asked if my schedule had changed. I said no, and then she informed me that art was 3rd period not 2nd. Wellllll, I felt a bit red faced , but what can you do! She looked at me a bit strangely the rest of the day as I was babbling on about all the things she needed to know about the classroom.
So, good luck to you, a speedy easy recovery. I am looking forward to having it done and on the road to recovery.

Take care , I will be thinking of all of you,
Susie
