Anyone taken Zapain for adenomyosis? Or oramorph?

I took 2 x Zapain about an hour ago for severe pain from adenomyosis. Got pain radiating across my lower back and feels like I'm being stabbed in the abdomen

So far I'm just feeling a bit sleepy and 'spacey' but still no pain relief!!

Does it take a while for this drug to build up in your system? Been told I can't take any more than 8 a day.

I was worried taking it as normally codeine make me vomit, but that's not the case today.

Wish I knew what to take for this pain. I'm an asthmatic so my choices are limited.

Bring on the surgery!!!

Re: Anyone taken Zapain for adenomyosis?

Update - I LOVE Zapain!

It has kicked in. This is the most pain free I've been in a long time and best of all, I feel like I'm floating on a pink fluffy cloud.......is this stuff legal???!!!

Congratulations!! I have never heard of this, are you in the US? I am so glad you are pain free, I would love to join you. They just keep bumping my meds up to higher doses. Off to Google to check it out.

Hi, I'm in the uk. Zapain is co-codamol. This and my heat pad are now my 2 best friends!

In the US, you would get Tylenol with codeine.

adenomyosis pain - anyone tried oramorph?

Hi, yesterday I posted about Zapain and how effective it was for my pain.

Today, Ive taken it and nothing!!

I think I need something stronger. I'm tempted to go to a&e as this is so bad.

Or I could ask my GP to prescribe Oramorph. Anyone found this helpful?

Thanks. Any advice for pain relief would be appreciated!

I have asthma so I need to be careful what I take..
