4 days post-op

Hello everyone. I'm 4 days post-op (partial hysterectomy). So far so good. Not much bleeding. However, I had a terrible time with gas and bowel problems on my 3rd day. I think it might have been worse if my doctor didn't take precautions by putting me on a clear liquid diet for 3 days. I haven't had to take any pain meds. today. When I do, I just take Ibuprofen. I got very sick with the dilaudid the doctor prescribed, so I did a trade-off. I am feeling incision pain but nothing I can't handle. My pain tolerance is a little greater than usual. I've been using a heating pad from time to time. It has worked wonders. No hormones imbalanced yet, but time will tell.

I'm on Day 4 as well, and although I haven't had much in the way of bleeding problems, just a bit of tinge sometimes on my toilet paper. I'm also using a heating pad as well.

I am finding myself to be really anxious and cranky, and not entirely sure why.

I am day four with TVH, Rectocele, cystocele repair, vag vault supension and some bladder work. I havent had a BM either and I am afraid of when I do. I still have lots of gas too. I thought it would be gone by now!
