Asking the doctor

Being guilty of this myself, I can understand why so many sisters don't want to ask embarrassing questions when they go to the doctor. However, I have learned the hard way that if you don't ask the questions, you can't get the answers. The way I see it, my doctor has seen my most intimate bits from the inside and the outside, up close and personal. At this point, there is no reason to be embarrassed. Besides, I would rather ask the doctor and not hurt myself than find myself explaining to her in the emergency room how I managed to "do that to myself!"

In other words, if you find yourself thinking "I wonder if I should...", you should probably check with your doctor - at lease while you are recovering from your surgery.
