10 Weeks Post-Op Question

I am a little concerned and thought I would throw this out there to see if anyone else has had these pains.. Last night the family went to the local fireworks display and my teenage son did something stupid and well let's just say momma wasn't happy so my walk was more like a "march or a little fast paced" to find the kid.
After we got home I started to feel a little icky. When I went to the bathroom I found 2 stitches on the toilet paper when I wiped and there was another one in the toilet. Well, this morning I woke up and my entire abdomen is sore. There are times I feel like I'm going to vomit and I have a sharp, shooting pain from my pelvic area up towards the belly button. and there have been 4 more stitches this morning.
Has anyone else had these pains? Hopefully they are normal and are associated with the stitches coming out because well my daughter told me on the way home last night that my ob/gyn was at the fireworks and was sitting in the grass behind us so I'm sure he saw what was going on. Talk about being a little annoyed with my son when I found that out..

Re: 10 Weeks Post-Op Question

Hi becca!!!

If your gyn was there and noticed, he may already be expecting a call today!!!!! On the other hand, he may not have noticed anything at all. Either way, don't worry about that.

It would be a good idea to call right away because this is new pain you have and new pain is one of the listed reasons to call.

Better to be safe than sorry!!!! Keep us updated and hope it is really nothing!!

Hugs,
Suzanne

Re: 10 Weeks Post-Op Question

I am going to wait it out today and see if the pain goes away on it's own. Plus with it being a hoilday today I really don't want to bother him especially since I brought this on myself. But it's funny how the adrenaline kicks in when you're really ticked off and you forget about everything else..
