Bleeding post-op, 10-days

i over did it a couple days ago....changed the bed, did a load of laundry, cooked dinner. I was tired yesterday so took it easy and did the same today. i'm not having any cramping or new pains, but when i stood up to get out of bed, there was blood running down my leg.

With it being a weekend, I'm going to keep an eye on it, and if I start soaking my pantyliners, should I go to the ER?

Can you call your doctor first? Do they have an 'on-call doctor' where you go? That happened to me....did too much (all I did was ride in a car 2 hrs, shop, to my son's soccer game 1 1/2 hrs of sitting, and a BBQ) and I started bleeding and it was on Saturday evening. I went home laid down with a pad on. I bled on Sunday as well and I also laid around all day on Sunday. However, it did slow down to just spotting by Sunday evening. If you are bleeding a lot.....do not hesitate to go to the ER or/and call your doctor for help and peace of mind. I hope you didn't tear anything. Your surgery was on 9/1....everything is still very sensitive >>>>DO NOT do too much you will hurt yourself and then have bigger problems. Best of Luck and REST more. Remember.....you only have one chance to heal right.....don't blow it....be patient.
