Back for surgery tomorrow...

Thanks, eyes4DH. While having the Lap procedure, the nurse told me they treated me vaginally for granulation, or granuloma, not sure which one. Had some spotting and was told nothing vaginally for ANOTHER 6 weeks. Poor hubby... This has been a LONG 5 1/2 months. But I'm feeling quite optomistic now!
My Dr. called me this morning and asked me to mark the edges of the bruise that I have, if it grows by tomorrow he will want to see me. I asked him at that time if he used the gel, or "Seprafilm",(to reduce the chances of forming new adhesions) and he said, "I filled you full of it". That really eases my mind.
Well, I'm off to rest a while. Thanks all...
Cathy

Back for surgery tomorrow...

Hi Dirtand diamond, from what I understand, granulation is something that occurs during healing, like at the vaginal cuff. It is tissue that isn't healed quite right and doesn't allow it to heal correctly. I was treated a couple times with silver nitrate for it. I'm not sure if a granuloma is the same thing. Maybe someone else knows?

Back for surgery tomorrow...

Hi Cathy! Your left side pain and bladder problems sound identical to the lower left pain that I've been dealing with. I am going in for a CT scan on Wednesday to try and see if we can tell from that test what might be causing this constant pain. I did have extensive adhesions and he did "cut" some of them. This is the same pain I had prior to surgery so you see I am pretty tired of it. It could also be some left over endo. I guess we'll see what the CT scan shows us and go from there. Doc did say that a lap procedure would be a possibility down the road if we couldn't find the cause any other way. It does sound like adhesions though - pulling and sharp jabbing - bladder pressure.
I'm so glad you got some help!!! It must be such a relief!!! My thoughts and prayers are with you. Thank you for sharing your story.
