Strange Spasms and aches
I am at 3 weeks and was wondering if anyone else has felt some muscle spasms, kind of like a charlie horse in the abdomen? It seems like every morning at 4 or 5 am I have this sensation. It might have something to do with the upcoming bowel movement. I also have some aching in my vagina every once in awhile, mostly in the evening. I am getting plenty of rest and have been very good about not over doing it.

Strange Spasms and aches
The only thing I've had that's similar is bladder cramping. It has happened several times a day since my surgery. The doctor gave me a prescription to use for a couple of weeks in the hope that things will be better then. My bladder leaks each time a cramp happens so I know it's my bladder. Good luck and I hope "time will heal."

Strange Spasms and aches
I am at 3 weeks tomorrow and am having the same symptoms. I have this dull ache in my abdomen and then sometimes it goes into sharp pains, like a knife going up through me, and it mostly in the evenings when this happens. I feel like alot of my pain has to do with my bowels and bladder. That pain sensation that is worse around 4-5 in the morning is probably because your bladder is filling up. I love this site. I was starting to get a little discouraged thinking I should be feeling better than this by now and came to start a new thread about feeling this way and lo and behold I have sisters going through the same thing. I am trying to hang in there but am struggling with a sinus headache and feeling lousy today. I keep telling myself tomorrow will be better. All in all each day is a little bit better. I am getting really antsy though. My husband drives tractor trailer and has been gone since 1 week post op so I have been alone except for friends and my mom stopping by occasionally to help me out. He will be home tomorrow, YEAH.
Good Luck in Healing to All you Sisters,
Laurie

Strange Spasms and aches
It sounds as if we have the same sensations. I was 3 weeks on Wednesday. This morning when I woke up to pee at 4am, I decided I would take 2 tylenol. It worked! I was able to sleep until 7:00am. I have been frustrated at the early morning too early to rise......it makes the day too long. I also found that if I force myself to walk after dinner, I have less gas and pain in the evening. I am sure it is all intestinal and learning how to work all over again. Maybe it will straighten out soon.

Strange Spasms and aches
Lastt Fri. night I had such pains hit me in my stomach that my Dh wanted to take me to ER. I wonuldn't go and they eventually went away. Souns like we are all in this together. Unfortunately I hd to come back to work because i had no leave to use. The only good thing is that I was able to swap with some of my coworkers for a really quiet port, I work on the Canadian border as an officer, so I can relax and am not on my feet all day. Dr. wanted me to take at least another week but here I am. I do believe another week woulld have been best. I hurt belly back and swell terrible sitting here. I want my couch and jammies back. take care everyone

Strange Spasms and aches
I am 2 weeks post op from original surgery and 1 post op (vaginal blleding -severe) My biggest issue is bowels still not moving normally constipation then diarreah. I have severe pain and pressure in my rectal area and cannot find a comfortable position - it comes and goes but..is mostly here. I did have a rectocele and my vaginal wall supported up by attaching material to my sacrum (is this A&P)MY biggest and mean biggest fear is that htis will not go away. Anybody experienced this?
Thanks.

Strange Spasms and aches
ryrytyty, I'm not an expert by any means but my understanding of an A&P repair is Anterior and Posterior, where the vaginal walls toward the bladder and (Posterior) toward the rectum have become weakened and begin to bulge into the vagina, like a hernia. The repair, not sure exactly how they do it, is to push the bulge back and stitch up and strengthen that area. I had this done and have a gazillion stitches up my vagina. If anyone knows more about it or I got something wrong, please let me know. Get better soon!!!!
