2+ weeks post hysterectomy: Dull Pain

Hi Ladies!
I am 2 weeks and 2 days out. I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy. I am recovering fairly well not too much pain mostly discomfort at this point. I started having a dull pain in my vagina. It's not excruciating or anything just comes and goes. Have any other ladies experienced this or is currently experiencing it? Just wondering. Thanks.

Hi! I am glad you are doing well! I was told this was nerve pain and everything just rearranging. Any other thoughts on what this pain might be?

I read about nerve pain on a blog. I'm not sure though. Like I said it's not excruciating. My hubs is constantly checking on me & body changes from surgery so we've been like crazies Googling and reading. Lol. I haven't done anything but rest since surgery so I'm thinking this is normal. Lol

I'm 4 weeks and cant complain, no killer pain. But yes I have gone through intrrvals of sore or achey,l or slightly crampy and yes dull pain cold be a good description. I think it is the healing and things re-adjusting at my 2 week post up this was what my doctor basically said for what I reported to her. Outwardly we just don't see anything the outside incision spots, heal so nice and quick, but we have to remeber a lot is going on inside where all the work was done.

This week, I am a dull pain, think Sitting st my sewing machine hasn't agreed also considering internal stitches may be dissolving
