Should we still have pain two weeks post op?

Hello everyone!
I am just at my two week mark and have a question. My surgery went well. I went in for suspected adeno and one thing she found was my right tube wrapped around my ovary. My incision looks great (almost healed) and I just removed my steri strips yesterday.
My question is this:
I have been trying to take it easy. I have a three year old and my husband works out of town so I am staying with my sister. I have been doing very minimal lifting and probably a fair bit of bending but have been trying to take it easy. I still have pain inside - is this normal? It is not bad pain just more like I want to go inside and rip something out.
I just want to make sure I'm on the right road to recovery. This morning was the first day it didn't hurt to pee which was great. I'm just curious about where the pain level (if we should have any).
Thanks for you help!
Monica

Yes...I still have periodic pain at the 4 week mark. Have you checked what people are posting on your date group? That would probably reassure you.
My pain is where they cut inside...not where the incision is. I think that takes much longer to heal than the incision...which is numb... (you might want to adjust your signature, which I think is out of date on what you had when.)

I would think it's pretty normal to have a little pain here and there after surgery. I'm at six weeks post op and still have occasional twinges and burning feelings in there. You know how when you cut or burn yourself you feel it starting to pull and it may itch a little. Well I would imagine our insides are doing that too. Good luck to you
