Did anyone's swelly belly turn hard?

Did anyone's swelly belly turn hard?? The dr. said I had a large hematoma from the surgery. I guess that's what it is??? It's been almost 3 weeks and it's still hard and I have a constant low grade fever. Is that weird??

Mine has been hard since right after the surgery... and it hurts but i have NO fever.. but the pain is more everyday instead of getting better?? i wonder why?

I've been mostly sitting in a chair with my feet on a footstool, rather than lying in bed. I'm wondering if that might explain the hard swelly belly. (Maybe the blood can't flow as easily???) Of course that doesn't explain the fever. I guess everyone's recovery is different, but I felt better less than a week after surgery than I do now!

Have you mentioned this to your doctor? Mine never got hard. It might be a good idea to call and tell him about the low grad fever as well.

I called dr. day before yesterday. He's not concerned about low grade fever and said I had a large hematoma above my incision. I'm wondering if that is the hardness?
