Still have discharge

[color=Blue]I'm 6 1/2 weeks post-op and still having discharge. Is anyone else experiencing this after this long?

What sort of discharge is it? It could be many different things. If you're concerned, the best possible thing to do is contact your doctor.

Discharge is normal for quite some time after surgery. I think it can go on for several months as your insides continue to heal. Some oder is normal as well. If the odor is really bad and your having other symptoms such as fever, itchyness and redness, pain with urination ect. it might be a good idea to be checked for infections. If your really concearned it would be a good idea to get a check-up anyway. Even if it's only to make yourself feel better that your ok and healing well.
