How long to wait before working out

Hello....I had my DVPH Aug 13 and I'm feeling pretty good, I still get tired pretty quick though. I was just wondering how long to wait before I start back to my normal 2 mile walking routine and I really want to get serious and lose at least 20 lbs with a more strenuous workout also. I see my gyno on Aug 22, I was just wondering about other women's different experiences after their surgery and how long you waited. Thanks in advance for any info you may have

I started taking walks at 2 weeks after surgery. I started slow and listened to my body as I walk. Some days I would feel pain twinges and on those days I would cut my walks shorter.
Now I am up to 45 minutes of walking daily. I still tend to get tired out so I am not yet back up to where I used to be, but I am progressing with out overly pushing myself.

I want to lose about 20 pounds so I am working on it!

Thanks Reb50 its so nice to hear you are doing well with your walking, I will wait until I'm two weeks PO to get back with mine too. Hopefully we will shed this 20lbs before the holidays, that would be awesome!! Not having my period anymore with all of the problems I had with it will be good inspiration.
