I made it!

Well then ....can you believe i just had surgery yesterday, TAH, and the Dr sent me home this afternoon. Must really need to fill the bed with someone important. However it is nice to be home resting instead of at a loud hospital. I originally was scheduled for TAH because of recurring dysplasia. Dr told me this morning that i had an enlarged uterus and endo all over. Was able to save my left ovary but the right was covered in endo. Well then...that explains a whole lot! All the pain and not right feelings have a reason...finally!
The only grrrrrr issue about leaving today is that it's GOOD FRIDAY! Can't fill my prescription! Tomorrow is another day! Husband is going to shower me now that the kids are in bed! Thanks to all of you ladies and will keep in touch as things move along!! HUGS!

Just take it easy - sounds like you are doing well

I had TAH on March 22 and was home March 23. Original plan was to keep me 3-5 days, but I was doing very well, so was allowed to go home. I was elated!!

Recovery is much better at home, IMO. Just be careful and don't forget to make an appointment to get those stupid staples out.

I had mine on April 3 and went home the afternoon of April 4. It is SO much better to recover at home. Take it easy and enjoy Easter weekend!
