6 week-Miraculous Milestone !!

Hellooooooo !!!...Well it is a miraculous milestone - 6 weeks post-op and feeling SO much better, I can get around a lot better. Go upstairs more than one at a time...up and down pool ladder...drive & shop on my own....I even have cut the grass and I vacuum, swiffer & sweep the floors.....although I continue to not lift anything heavy. I do get tired in the evening, and I still experience twinges and spasms near my incison interiorily...but for the most part I feel like a whole *new person !!...So to all of you recent surgeries...give it time and look forward to week 6 !!...Have a good day !!

Amazing how we gain a new appreciation of the little things we take for granted. Hopefully we can keep our thankful spirit always.

Thank you for posting that upper. At 3 1/2 weeks I feel fantastic and await that "magic" 6 week mark when, like you, I am free to lead a normal life. I hope your good health continues.

Just remember to keep listening to your body and not over-do it!! I felt great at week 6 and then hit a wall at week 9 when I started hitting the gym really hard and swimming lots of laps in the pool. Boy was I sorry!! It took me until last week (Week 12) to actually start feeling normal again. But happy to report I feel better than I have in such a very very long time!! I can see a bright future ahead!
