why lip balm

I remember just being in the hospital having my babies that the place was so dry, even my nose hurt inside. I keep vaseline next to my bed anyway for my lips as I hate dry lips. So I will bring that. But, if you forget, remember that they do stock vaseline in the little supply closet in the hospital so just ask if you want some. I think it feels much better than lip balm (which seems to dry my mouth out even more).

why lip balm

I was also intubated but didn´t get a sore throat. Got very dry lips, as if I had been wandering in the desert without water and was happy to have brought lip balm (because others had recommended it - thank you guys!).

It's funny this topic comes up now. My DH and I were at the store last night and I saw this really good lip balm and bought it thinking it would be great for the hospital. Now I am sooo glad that I did!
