Need advice please
Hello Sisters,
I had a TAH on 10/15. I am healing well and feel really great. Except for the stairs. Going down is fine, but up hurts. The hurt is on either side of my belly button. It is like a sudden ache almost like tug. Does this make sense to anyone? Anyways this tug is making me nervous. I have been taking it easy. Sitting in bed late, walking to the bathroom, folding clothes, preparing lunch and dinner with no real twisting or such. But when the ache becomes a little much I am taking my pain med. Is that ok or should I be off the pain meds? I am taking 1 maybe 2 a day if I feel this pain.
Also, I took the binder off to shower today and I noticed that my stomach and area above the incision seem lopsided. It looks odd and I definitely notice. My hubby and sister say it is fine. Anyone else seem lopsided?
Thanks for sharing your experiences and calming my neurotic nerves!
